Leila Suleiman Hassan
My
name is Leila Suleiman Hassan. I was born in 2001 at Mnazimmoja
Hospital, and I am a child of a peasant family living at Jambiani
village. I grew up and studied at Jambiani from Nursery level to
Ordinary level.
I
started my nursery education at Kikadini nursery school for two (2)
years from 2007 to 2008. After the nursery school I joined at
Kikadini government school for primary education. I studied there for
seven (7) years from standard 1 to standard 7 in the years 2009 to
2015. In 2015 I did National Primary examination; I qualified well
and was selected to join Jambiani Secondary School for ordinary level
studies.
My
secondary education took four (4) years from Form one (F 1) to Form
four (F 4) from 2016 to 2019. At the end of 2019 I did the National
Certificate of Secondary Education of Tanzania. I qualified and
awarded the certificate after achieving grade C in Kiswahili and
grade D in Kiislamu, Civics, Biology and English. I didn’t receive
enough points to join to the advanced level (F5, F6), but this did
not stop me to look forward for more education.
I
cannot give up pursuing further education. I applied successfully at
Elimu Mbadala Technology for an Information Technology (IT) course
where I was awarded a certificate after three months in October 2020.
In April 2021 I was offered the chance of continuing my IT-studies
IT. I am studying in order to make me understand more and how I can
help other people in life in this century of Science and Technology.
My wish is to continue with the studies at State University of
Zanzibar (SUZA). I would love to study hard and to succeeded because
I have already great experience. You will find a friendly, reliable
and hardworking student. Many thanks to my sponsors.
